I had the opportunity this past weekend to photograph a Sweetheart Banquet for single senior Women's at my church. The ladies were so sweet and I really enjoyed capturing their special day. There was great food, which is always a plus and even some entertainment. There were five songs sang, and each of the songs were about love, and finding that special someone. It was really great to see the senior women getting all excited about the songs. One of the singers even sang
Love Me Tender by Elvis and that really made the senior ladies day.
Each of the tables that the senior ladies ate at were all decorated for Valentine's and were decorated and hosted by deacons wives, since it was a deacon event to give back to the older single ladies in the congregation. The place settings and decorations were beautitul and I loved all the flower centerpieces that people put together. My favorite though is of the red rose in a cute vase. It was simple, but very elegant and didn't block anyone's view at the table. It was such a sweet event and there were lots of great memories made.
I really enjoyed photographing the Valentine's Banquet and was so glad that the senior ladies had such a great time!
